Thoughts on my approach:

I hope you will find my approach to be straight-forward, respectful, and thorough.  If you do not, I would encourage you to give me immediate feedback so that I might meet my own standards. I believe mind and body work best when they are both cared for in a relationship that is dependable, thoughtful, compassionate, and realistic. At times, adequate care might also require a more team based approach with other medical providers, holistic providers, nutritionists, or physical therapists/trainers.  This is okay too.  The point is, we will find you who and what you need to improve.

During my training, I’ve gathered expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Time-limited Psychodynamic-Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Based Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Exposure Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Psychoanalytically oriented Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
